Preview: Georgia Tech 2007

There's obviously a lot on the line on Saturday for the Dawgs. A BCS bowl and a SEC championship are still up for grabs; however, we shouldn't lose the fact that we hate Georgia Tech. I don't hate them like I hate Auburn or Florida. It's a different kind of hate. I expect the Gators or the War Eagles to win on occasion. I never expect the evil trade school to win. We own them, so when they win it hurts. Paul Westerdawg reminds us all how much it hurts to lose to Tech. We better come to play, because I don't want to feel that way tomorrow after the game.

The recent trend in this series is close, hard fought games. Each time the Dawgs have made a big play to pull out the win. We really need to bury them this time. Georgia goes into Bobby Dodd Stadium at Historic Mark Richt Field with swagger. I don't expect Tech to move the ball very well so if the Dawgs don't turn it over we should be fine. The Dawgs should run away with this but recent history suggest it will be closer than it should be.

Final Score: UGA 27 - Tech 13
