Week #6
Well last week dealt a huge blow to my overall record. The only game I successfully predicted right was the Georgia game so this week is redemption week.
Georgia at Tennessee: Tennessee is coming off a bye week and is starving for their first conference victory against the dawgs. This has all the makings to be a tight slobber knocker of a contest. The Vols and coach Fulmer have their backs against the wall. Lose this game and their season and Fulmer's job is gone. Georgia hasn't shown the ability to dominate teams and don't look for it this week as the Vols and Eric Ainge roll past the dawgs. Vols 31 Dawgs 20.
Kentucky at South Carolina: This is a must win game for Kentucky. With back-to-back games against LSU and Florida in the coming weeks Kentucky needs to win this game or they are staring 4 or 5 loses in the face. Win this game and the magic continues. I smell a lot of points being scored in this one. Kentucky 34 USC 30. Spurrier has never lost to Kentucky in 14 tries.
Florida at LSU: Worst thing that could've happened to LSU was Auburn beating Florida last week. The Gators will be focused and ready to play Saturday night. LSU has serious offensive problems and lean too much on their tenacious d. Florida is 10-3 all time in Death Valley. After this week it will be 11-3. Florida 17 LSU 13.
Oklahoma vs. Texas (in Dallas): Both teams got whooped last week so it looks like we got ourselves a good ol' fashion desperation game down by the Red River. Texas hasn't been impressive all year so look for Oklahoma to roll big in this one. Oklahoma 28 Texas 14.
Ohio State at Purdue: The Buckeyes are coming under the radar this season in the weak Big 11. They sport and nasty defense and capable offense. Purdue is undefeated and looking for a signature win. Its not gonna happen this weekend. OSU 24 Boilermakers 17.
Upset Alert: Wisconsin at the fighting Ron Zooks of Illinois

» Georgia Forgets to Play in Knoxville from DawgBlog
Char_Dawg had this one right, but who knew just how poorly we'd play yesterday? The Dawgs were thoroughly beaten and embarrassed by the Vols who got shellacked by a now two loss Gator team. One trend is starting to emerge... [Read More]
