Week 2 preview
Last week's record 2-2
South Carolina at Georgia - Great win for the bulldogs last week. The dawg nation is definitely fired up after a strong showing against a capable Big 12 opponent. But this week is totally different; Georgia opens SEC play against a dangerous USC team. Georgia shut out USC last season in Columbia so look for USC to play with a chip on their shoulder. Should be a close low scoring contest but the dawgs will prevail UGA 20 USC 16.
Around the nation:
Miami at Oklahoma - This isn't the Miami of ol' Oklahoma's defense should be able to shut down Miami's lackluster offense. But look for Miami so play with pride Oklahoma 23 Miami 17.
TCU at Texas - TCU sports a strong defense but are they ready to knock off Texas? Simple answer...NO! Look for Texas to bounce back after a less-than convincing win last weekend. TCU won't score much Texas 24 TCU 6.
Virginia Tech at LSU - Game of the week. Good ol' battle of the defenses. Should be a lot of big hits in Death Valley Saturday night. Both offenses will struggle so the team that wins field position and special teams will come out on top. I like LSU in a hostile environment to make enough big plays to pull it out. LSU 15 Virginia Tech 10.
Upset alert: South Florida at Auburn

The dawgs looked great! Really hoping Stafford/Moreno duo just keeps getting better...
