Horrible BCS
Just a little note to vent my frustration on the unbelievable stupidity of college football. Ohio State and Michigan played yesterday and the only thing that was established was that two undefeated teams from a weak football conference cannot play defense. For whatever reason both teams have been ordained as the two best. I'm not exactly sure what this is based on. Notre Dame, Michigan, and Ohio State are given free passes and everyone just has to accept they're the best teams. Nortre Dame hasn't beaten a top 10 team all season and they lost to Michigan. The Wolverines signature win is against the overrated Irish. Ohio State is undefeated and deserves their shot at the BCS title, but Notre Dame and Michigan are also rans that lost.
Every season the SEC eliminates itself from the BCS title with tough competition. The football media who is predominantly from the east is obsessed with the Big Ten, has no clue about the SEC. This is not even about the SEC though, anyone but Michigan in the title game. If it turns out that Michigan and Ohio State play again I will boycott the game, as well as other true football fans who want to see a true title game.
