Dawgs Maul War Eagles on the Plains

This season has been a major disappointment but today everything finally went our way against Auburn. At the beginning of the season this was the game I wanted to win the most. The Dawgs blasted the War Eagles 37-15. Georgia scored 24 points in the first quarter and never looked back. Auburn was never able to muster much of a comeback were not able to capitalize on the Dawgs' three turnovers. However Georgia made the most of every opportunity. Matthew Stafford finally played a solid game (except the fumbles) rushing for over 80 yards and throwing over 200 yards. Lumpkin also had a solid game rushing for over 100 yards. I'm not sure what to make of this game, it was a huge win for us. Looking back at this season I think everyone will wonder how good we could have been if we could have cut down on our turnovers. This is a great step towards the 2007 season. Now we finally get a week off to get ready for the Evil Empire. It's great to be a Georgia Bulldog!
