Preview: Florida 2006

The annual loss against Florida in Jacksonville is here again. We have had a terrible run of luck coming into this game the past few years. Last year Shockley got hurt the previous week against Arkansas and we had no backup capable of running the offense. Florida scored two quick touchdowns and that's all they needed. This year the Gators are much better, and we're much worse. I really don't see how we win this game. It would be a huge upset. I don't have any confidence in our defense and difficult to believe we'll be able to score enough points to win.

Against Tennessee we played well in the first half, but our defense couldn't stop the Vols at all. The turnovers just compounded the problem. Florida's weakness is when there is pressure put on their QB, but that's something we're steadfastly against doing so I expect Leak to have a huge game in a rout. I've been wrong before, and hopefully I'm wrong again.

Final Score: UGA 10 - Florida 30
